Everything you need to know to collect, breed, and share creatures on Wicked Hybrids.
Getting started
Wicked Hybrids is an AI-powered creature-breeding game. You collect base animals, cross-breed them with AI to produce unique hybrids, and animate them into shareable videos.
Quick start (3 steps)
- Step 1 — Add animals: Go to the Library and click + Add on at least 2 animals you like. They land in your Collection.
- Step 2 — Breed a hybrid: From your Collection, click an animal, then click ↺ Breed. Pick a second animal and hit Generate to have the AI crossbreed them.
- Step 3 — Share: Generate a cinematic background scene and share it to the feed.
Library
The Library is the catalogue of all base animals available in the game. You can search by name.
Once you add an animal to your Collection, its card shows ✓ Owned and cannot be added again.
Collection
Your Collection holds every animal you own — base library animals and AI-generated hybrids alike.
Creature detail page
Clicking any creature opens its detail page where you can:
- Rename a hybrid (click ✎ Rename).
- Generate a background — a cinematic AI scene featuring your creature in a chosen environment.
- Generate a video — animate the background scene into a short clip (requires a background first).
- Generate a morphing video — an 8-second video showing your creature morphing into one of its ancestors. You can then capture a frame from the morph video to save as a new hybrid.
- Breed — start a new breed run using this creature as parent A.
- Share — post the background or hybrid image to the community feed.
- Remove — permanently remove the creature from your collection.
Lineage
Hybrids show their complete lineage tree, so you can trace exactly which base animals were combined to create them across all generations.
Breeding
Breeding combines two of your animals using AI to generate a new hybrid creature.
How it works
- Go to Breed and select two animals from your collection.
- Click Generate. The AI creates a hybrid image.
- You can Keep it or Discard it and generate again (both are free).
- Kept creatures appear in your Collection immediately.

Sharing & the Feed
The Home feed shows posts from the entire community — images and videos of their creatures.
How to post
- Open a creature's detail page and generate a background or video.
- Click the ↗ Share button to post to the community feed.
- Your creation appears in the feed immediately.
Likes & engagement
You can like any post by clicking ♥. You can delete your own posts at any time.
Tokens
Tokens are the in-game currency used for generating content. They're spent on background generation, video generation, morphing videos, and capturing frames from morphing videos.
Daily allowance
Every account gets 2 free tokens per day that reset every 24 hours. Check your remaining tokens on the Profile page.
Purchasing tokens
Additional tokens can be purchased from the Tokens page. Purchased tokens do not expire.
Tips & common questions
Why do some breeds look terrible?
AI image generation is probabilistic. Roughly 70% of results won't be what you hoped for. Because you can discard for free, the strategy is to keep breeding until you get something great.
Can I breed a hybrid with another hybrid?
Yes. Any two creatures in your collection can be bred together, including hybrids. Multi-generation hybrids often produce the most unusual results.
How do I get more creatures in the library?
The admin team adds new base animals to the library regularly. Keep an eye on the community feed for announcements.
